The Ocean City Beach Patrol conducts Pre-Employment Physical Skills Evaluations (PEPSE) every summer to qualify candidates for the following season’s Surf Rescue Academy. Interested candidates must register for a specific date and location for their PEPSE, which typically takes place in May and June.
